Guten Nachmittag,
I doubt there is still anybody left uninformed about the current events, after all each and every single TV station onboard Bruchsal has decided to spout the news. The former Oberst of the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee, Doktor Annika Jana Haupt, seems to be back in action, at least that is what her comm towards us and the Bundschuh movement in general is alluding to.
While this is of course worrying news, it should not be overly catastrophized. From my own guesses, it is very improbable that Haupt currently commands over nearly as much manpower to become an actual threat to DWR. One whole year is enough time for many people to erase Haupt from their memory, a fact we should use to our advantage. While Haupt was away in the dark shadows, we have risen from the chaos the Bundschuh was back then, and have seen about coordinating the entire movement as best as we could. As long as we persist on that point of view, we will effectively take the bread out of Haupt's mouth.
This however does not mean that we should trifle with her rise from the dead. Haupt has one big advantage, which is the Ostara which is apparently in her and Kommissaroberst Wolf's hands. This ship, one of the last main symbols of might the VWA can probably deploy, is the actual threat in my eyes. As long as they have it, it can function as a symbol that the old VWA is not yet totally broken and destroyed. It is so far the only ace Haupt has up her sleeves, a perfect propaganda instrument of hers.
Thus, it should be our main effort, at least for now, to disrupt as many frequencies hinting at the existence of this ship as possible, both on Bruchsal and our other bases. The less people get wind of it, the better. I hereby order a full news embargo on said frequency.
