Guess the bureaucracy isn't quite working out for the Guard, is it?

Hope you will excuse us the delay, the message only crossed my desk today. I am Fleet Captain Leonard Harrington, the man in charge of what's left of the proper Legion. I can't imagine something as big as our exit went under your radar, so I am not going to bore you with the backstory. We're the ones behind Guard's operations in Liberty and around. Hitting the Navy, hitting the Gauls, hitting the Commonwealth. Just what you'd expect from the Commonwealth's own little "purifying fire". Our agenda remains largely the same, but given what they have done to the Legion, we don't really shy away from teaching the corporates a lesson or two.

The rest of the Guard is doing just fine as far as we are concerned. Your reports must be off on that matter.

The Guard will see to safely terminating this channel on their end. Should there be any further inquiries, they will forward them to your diplomatic channel. In case me or my men have something to ask about, we will use that channel as well.

By the way. We remember your assistance from our formative days, back when the Legion was barely limping around. Most of my subordinates are people that fought side by side with your pilots, when we were still on the same side. We are open to working something out again.
