Way out of my league here but I'm fairly certain you can modify client-side ship SFX without triggering the anticheat-- personally I did this before my extended leave to give cruisers a better idle engine sfx so something might be possible for engine fx. It'd only be clientside though so, you'd be the only one that hears the change.
