I am writing to report of the success of our convoy operation out of Occupied Leeds. Thanks to our efforts at organizing Task Force Dunkerque, approximately 2.8 thousand casualties have been rotated away from Planet Leeds, and 4 fresh battalions of Royal Marines have been redeployed to the front lines from Gallic space. We consider this a great accomplishment in that it confirms our ability to sustain the Gallic War Machine as the conflicts with Liberty and Bretonnia continue.
With the situation at the front lines quickly de-escalating, I am of the opinion that convoy (and anti-convoy) operations will continue to play increasingly important roles. Our fleets at the front can be resupplied more timely, and we can rotate Royal Army elements from planetary conflicts periodically so as to fully maximize our combat efficiency both on the ground and in space. I will continue to monitor the situation at the front lines with Bretonnia, and see to it that our supply lines are protected from B.A.F. raiders and saboteurs across this theatre. I feel we are also ready to begin our initial planning for the proposed 5GCommerce Raiding Units, and take the fight to our enemies.
Lastly, I'd also like to mention and especially thank the escorts of Task Force Dunkerque, whose vigilance and professionalism saw the mission through. Through careful fleet management, the CO's of the convoy were able to coordinate and successfully lead the train throughout the operation.
We did not run into any hostile vessels this time admiral, but rest assured the enemy will never find a Gallic convoy wanting.
Sincerely Yours,
Lt. Sabine de Bordeleaux
Commander of the Taureau G.A.T. L'Esperance
