We are sorry to inform you that your father was probably killed by the Counceillards -- or worse, God forbid, captured. And it is because of Bretonia and Liberty that we cannot, at the moment, destroy the Conceil completely in one decisive attack. The Marine will offer you many opportunities to avenge him, and you are hereby ACCEPTED. However, your lack of sexual activity at your age is raising concerns about your abilities to maintain the Core Gallic Values, and especially carry them over. We are a professional military and we do not pay for prostitutes, so your first mission will be to capture an enemy, preferably a Sirian so we can avoid scrutiny from our citizens, and use them to prove us right in what we want to believe about you. Their gender is up to you. We almost know that you will succeed in this and, having witnessed your actions on the battlefield before, have decided to generously assign you the rank of Lieutenant de Vaisseau, which allows you to command up to battlecruisers. Consider promotion only if you succeed in this mission.
Jules Baudelaire,
It is good that all the young citizenry is flocking to the Marine. They are eager for adventure, opportunity, glory, activity and so on. But what we would wish to have more of are the older and experienced recruits. We hope that we have found a good one in you, and hence you are ACCEPTED. Still, we are surprised to find yet another decently healthy Gallic man to answer negatively to the second last question of the second question group, and we find your boasts in the question about your skills pretentious. You certainly are one of the funniest middle aged military men, but having your past sexual activity in mind, the latter is questionable at best. Or perhaps this was a joke? It was funny if so.
Although you claim to be proficient at commanding a battleship, we feel that you will have to prove yourself first. You are thus also assigned the rank of Lieutenant de Vaisseau. Repeated successes will surely lead you to the first seat of your favourite class. And by the way, we consider it somewhat of a flaw of character if someone who wishes to command a Valor does not underline DISCIPLINE. You will need to be taught some, we're afraid.
