don t get me wrong, i am VERY much FOR the xenos and other factions to interact in a diplomatic matter with other factions and as a result ( reward ) gain access to their gear. - THAT is what rp and - in terms of the game - political matters are all about. - this is what makes disco so great. - the communication, the roles playing and interacting - finding compromises and agreements that carry their factions much further than a NPC could do.

i would hate it if the xenos were bound to use starfliers and hawks, cause the strict rules tells them to only use the crap they can get regarding to the lore of their faction. - thats boring... no one wants that much. playerfactions and players are playing to make the whole sirius dynamical and somewhat unexpected.

but i like the factions to reflect their opportunities and respect other factions the same. its allways weighing up whats more important - ingame lore or the ongoing playerstories. - thats what a playerfaction can do in contrast to a independent, thats where playerfactions can shine. they can actually make a deal with ... GMG for example. ( an independent can do it, too - but it hasn t the same ... umm.. status as when a playerfactions does the same )

but whatever you achieved, - keep in mind that other factions may follow your example ( in that case - your good example ) and RP outside their tight factions limits, too. if we do that - disco will be a happier place. cause it ll grant freedom while we still stick to what our factions are about. - changes are made, but they are based on RP. - however, we are ( should be ) tolerant enough to at least consider changes and agreements as an ongoing developement of disco.

for example - the neutrality of the UoG and the bretonians - thats where i think the strength of disco is. to make global changes to the world we play in. - we are not limited too much to what the NPC lore tells us - we are close enough to igiss to actually make our decissions change things. - so, if the xenos like to rub shoulders with the GMG, cause they gain a great advantage from it - and in return, the GMG is granted immunity from them or another reward - its simply how things really should be.
