I guess you guys also tend to forget how much time the Players invest in all the RP, in the game, PvPs, all the supplies, staying up all night to plan stuff for their Faction just to get steamrolled over by the Devs. It's not just you that put effort into this, but also the Players. I know how people spend so much time into those Factions and RPs, some went late to work, sleepless just to see it wasted.
I agree the negativity should stay away, but the question at some point rises "Why?". You make people regret taking decisions inside their own factions, some are so bound to not make ANY mistake that they just succumb with whatever idea the devs throw at them just not to get into any conflict and lose something in the progress. You're throwing away so much potential ideas these Players come up with sometimes it's just sad watching how someone loses hope, the spark you feel in the players sentences suddenly extuingishing after realisation that none of that matters anyway.
Small updates, the regular ones you're doing (I realy like the fact that an action taken would be in the mod in a week), should've been left to player outcomes and you guys could've focused on Major Updates instead (Story Dev and all).
