It appears something has happened over the last few days while i've been away working and not being around on the forums or ingame. I would like to apologise for what's happened but it appears every time one of the GMS pilots get one side of a blue message, you personally come here to complain about it, not in a constructive critism way but just to voice your opinion about the interaction. That I do not mind at all, but why I would appreciate was if you could come here with less of an attitude. I do not appreciate after every interaction with GMS pilots we get the QQ from you because of your pilots do not want to cooperate with some Maquis.
You are fully aware that MQS do RP. Let me just replay a scenario that you was apart from.
Remember that day, I came and found you in IDF, and sat underneath Versailles Residence to RP with you, we sat there and RP'd for about 5 - 10 minutes about Cigars/Tobacco or something, can't remember exactly which one it was. Then that GRP arrived in a light fighter and also joined in with that RP. A Short time later, I had a Maquis pilot join me on my patrols. I was a transport so I am entitled to an escort. Something that GMS should invest in possibly. Anyway, as that RP continued we noticed a ship log in, and we've dealt with in the past.
That ship is being the same ship you came here to complain about previously in post number #20. The full solaris CAU 8 Gallic Destroyer. That was near impossible for some bomber pilots to take care of, i'm not noob or average player in a bomber. I know how to fly one, use one and stay alive. Where as the other's I was flying with, not so much. Did you see us complain about that ship because of the way he has been dealing with things. No you didn't. Want to know why he has changed his loadout and was "Actively hunting us". Because we Maquis killed him because he did NO RP with us when we were trying to RP with him. That I have video footage off and i'm willing to share with you via PM. I will send it to you via PM on the forums. After that incident, that player on that ship did not like the fact he died to three Maquis bomber's, he went and changed his loadout to full solaris. Which let's not forget a CAU 8 Destroyer that is very slime, agile and can deal alot of damage is dangerous against a faction that can't even fly gunboats. So we have to use bomber's to deal with such threat. Now when that player puts destroyer solaris on his ship even on heavy slots that becomes an issue, we know he is no there to mess around but to get revenge for us killing his ship previously. The Gallic Solaris has a great range of 1170 and projectile speed of 1500 m/s. That is a very dangerous weapon, on something as agile, thin as the Gallic Destroyer. I do have video evidence of that interaction with the RP with you and the GRP to this Gallic Destroyer turning up with one line of RP and engaging within a few seconds. You will recieve this via PM.
And now you arrive back at our feedback thread on post #22 regarding an incident that happened yesterday (I believe). This is how I understand the story, I may be incorrect but i'm going by what you've written.
So as YOU were passing through IDF, you saw a blue message where a [MQS] ship died. That is not very unusual it happens a fair bit. Then "Suddently" more [MQS] ships log in.
- Right there is no issue here? If you are under attack you will ask for help correct?
Then you say a few minutes later one of "YOUR" members GMS| log into Orleanais and then recieves a PM from a [MQS] asking if he was the one that done the 'deed'.
- So basically one of my members has pm'd someone asking if it was them (GMS pilot) who had killed him. Some people ask that to see if it was that player who killed him, the MQS could have been asking if he was allowed to trade or re-enter the system to pass through. We just don't know. I was not there.
So two GMS transporters log off and MQS log in on SHFs/Bombers into Picardy and went straight for Orleanais.
- There is nothing wrong here, we park alot of us stuff in Picardy and Ill-de-France. That is how we will operate and we will not be changing that.
One of your pilots "decides" that the Maquis ships are "hunting him"
- They most possibly are, we are a terrorist faction after all. But again we don't often do the "drop all cargo or die RP".
Your pilot then switches to a ship mining in Languedoc.
- Fine I understand he wants to switch from a transport in Orleanais to a miner in Languedoc. I personally wouldn't unless I had someone to fill up, a POB to fill or had something to actually do instead of sit shoot rocks for the sake of doing so.
Then the Maquis ships fly back to Picardy and log off. Then log back on into Languedoc and Provence. Then flew straight to Langeudoc.
- These are your words, i'm breaking down your feedback thread. So Can you prove that both of the ships that log off and switch are the same player's behind them. If so okay, I get it.
So the GMS pilot then decides yet again the Maquis ships are after him. So he switches back to a ship in Orleanais.
- Okay so your pilot is already trying to avoid any type of interaction possibly. A great way to come from a faction, avoiding all RP, interactions and so on and so fourth.
Now you say that one of the Maquis pilots switches from Languedoc to Picardy and heads back to Orleanais.
- Does it not come to your mind that Maquis pilots want interaction, want RP and worst case scenario want some pvp. We are terrorists that is correct, people should be scared, but people shouldn't avoid interaction by using the "Player Logs In" and "Player Logs Out" and "Player List" to find out what system people are in to avoid all types of interaction. That is a very bad way to play and infact you could class that as metagaming which you have just openly admitted that your player is doing. Now let me continue breaking this down shall we.
You then say "This has all the appearance of a 'witch hunt' and in my eyes is very ooRP.
- Everyone has the own voice and opinion, you are saying Maquis are actively hunting GMS pilots down. I will say Maquis pilots are trying to make Gallia active, bring RP and some pvp. You are aware of what [MQS] was like the end of last year and now what they are like. So please just stop the complaints, they are not going anywhere.
Now you try to claim that [MQS] have numbers and skills to deal with anything and everything. (Short version)
- My answer to that is, infact we don't have that many numbers, 7 is what our player base is at and it is growing, but half of those members do not know how to pvp. You have some good friends of mine that do, and some members that are very new to disco that wants to learn. So before throwing that stone on the beach maybe look after factions like MRG, or GRN who were once full of the players who know what pvp skill is. Maquis is both a RP faction as well as PVP Faction. We would rather build activity in Gallia instead of kill it off.
This is where you make me laugh by saying
You are making this unpllayable for those casual Players that frequent in Gallia. You as a FORMER ADMIN are telling your players to log off and hide when Maquis players appear.
- This made me chuckle when I saw it, it really did, a former admin telling his members to just log off/hide/avoid all interaction with [MQS] because they are so toxic and bad for the community. Right this is what you are saying. You are so wrong, we are bringing Gallia to an active house, we are making ALOT of RP ingame and on the forums. and we are in the process of making several events involving alot of factions. So that comment from a former admin is hilarious and invalid.
Then for a "Cheap shot" you say.
You might want to review your very ooRP way of obtaining Molybdenum. (you know what I mean).
- So now you are throwing threats towards my faction because we obtain Molybdenum ore. That's cute, I am getting very sarcastic right now becuase of how pathetic these complaints are getting. This is very irrelevent. This is just like how Hellfire Legion and Xenos get there ore. From a LAWFUL Corperate faction. There are players in maquis who have GMS ID miners. That is a known fact, but we RP our characters that fly GMS ID as people who do not follow the crown or the Gallic Royal Navy ways, we RP them as a "We just want to live by any means necessary" if aa "GRP, GRN or GRI" arrive then i'm sure the Maquis Players GMS Miners will not mine for Maquis.
But let me just thank you for one comment I did enjoy. The one where you say I have not put this in your official faction request thread. Then you "HOPE" we don't become official.
- Is that so you can have Gallia back with no pirates to get your billlions of sirius credits with no hassle. You don't like having pirates interupt your trade it seems.
But a big thing alot of members say, moderators, admins, GM's say is.
- Take a sandwich break, look through the situation and then re-evaluate if it is worth posting in a feedback thread. Alot of the time the answer is no, it just shows how upset you are or the faction is with another faction. We will only accept constructive critism, not complaints like this where where you have openly admitted to your players metagaming to avoid all interaction, to log off because they see a Maquis who is so scary because we are terrorists.
But wait I said I was going to send some videos here. So let me just collect them for you.
I do have a DSAce Log of him PMing [MQS] saying "Everytime a Maquis logs he will log and actively hunt us"
But what amusses me now is. That same pilot is one of your GMS| pilots, isn't he. He is one of your members. I have proof of this. here
