Miss Ikeda Yume.
I just received word that the deliveries have been completed. As such, your request has been fulfilled.
I was curious about the scrap you mentioned in your earlier message. Our transport captain who handled the contract did a few surface level scans on the materials surrounding the station. Many of them have either entered a stable orbit around or are drifting away from it, meaning that they are unlikely to become a threat to the installation itself.
The scanners also picked up on some of the materials. Much of it is beyond repair and can only be smelted for its raw component elements but we found signs that some pieces of equipment may not only be worth salvaging but could also be in repairable condition. The computer parts are obviously charred and molten but a few power lines and what looked like some life support filters could still be of use.
That may not be all, though. The true gems of a salvage operation can only be found after the obfuscating debris has been cleared. According to a rough energy signature scan, there seemed to be still active batteries in there somewhere. Military grade batteries of the kind that are commonly used in weapons construction. If these are still attached to weapons and if said weapons are still repairable is somewhat questionable but we can't know for sure until we have taken a closer look.
Would you be interested in granting the Congress salvage rights in exchange for some of the juicier pieces that we would find?
Signed, Rell Harrow.
