This is just lie. Bombers best class to fight caps stacks. Learning and coordinating bomber wing to roll over caps much faster, easier and cheaper than learning and coordinating cruisers/battlecruisers pack for same. And ASURAS+SNAC bombers wing can remove any caps formation with same performance for each, while for cruisers/bcrs/caps things very depend from enemy fleet composition and their own setup. (well, with exception of amassing 5 and more BCrs. Btw, bombers also most effective way to kill cancer like this.)

Yes, this is why even i'm sometimes snac'd people, and never insta'd people by cruiser without codes. This is why we had like half server capable throw snac, everybody moving on light bombers, and killing people by snac after month training, and only 3-4 men consistently making LM instakill.

I agree that now small ganks havent versality, but what was before it was just all balanced around SNAC meta. Was same class killing just from another side. Why fly fighter if bomber can do everything?
