Dune is cool though.

And I find BSG to be cool as well. I've watched both the older and the newer series. Cool is very subjective reasoning. On semi related note - I think there's going to be a new Dune movie as well.

I like BSG too, but a direct import is meh.

Outcasts have influences, not exactly imports. CR were BSG, now they're more heavily influenced by it.

On the note about the dune film, I have heard about it too. I hope its good, Dune needs more love.
