I am going to need some assistance with a major project I'm kicking off.
I've placed a bid upon a derelict watership up for auction on Los Angeles, with the intention of moving the vessel to planet Wichita in Kansas, a (seemingly) uninhabited oceanic world I've had my eye on for a while.
The consigners have agreed to have it disassembled for space transport and will be shipping the pieces to Bethlehem as soon as the auction ends or I pay the buyout price. So first things first, I want the pieces brought to Milford. It's an enormous load and I'm not sure any of our ships besides the Death Valley will be able to handle it, and certainly not all at once.
Be smart about this and don't get the Zoners in trouble. The pieces are huge and awkwardly shaped, so loading is going to take a substantial amount of time. Have one of you cut the lane to the station and distract any traffic heading for the station while you're loading.
I would like to have this done as soon as possible after the shipment arrives, because renting that much space on Bethlehem is shockingly expensive.
At Milford, we're going to examine what we've bought clearly and plan its reassembly, including rebuilding the hull which will require a substantial load of suitable alloys. I will try to order those as soon as possible.
Now, I don't imagine even the Death Valley has a single compartment large enough for the whole vessel, so we're going to have to do final assembly planetside. I imagine we would want to construct a temporary platform with a large enough crane to maneuver the individual segments. According to my preliminary research, none of the planet's islands are permanently above water, so we'll need to research the oceanic phases and set up a time plan accordingly.
We'll go further into operational planning once the work starts at Milford.
