In-RP the base would have told the RHA to bugger off and go dock somewhere else - otherwise Bretonia would come down on them like a tonne of bricks. Game mechanics don't allow for this - RHA's behaviour was OORP and Wesker's comments already acknowledge that they don't care about Zoner law and so it seems fair that until they can respect Zoner RP they aren't allowed to dock at Zoner bases. They are lucky to have have gotten off so lightly with an RP consequence
But yes this could have been handled better from the Zoner side also - if an OSI was present why did he not tell RHA that they were not allowed to dock? Why did they not message on the forums regarding this incident? Was there just not enough time for them to come to some decision on what action to take before the GMs did this?
If there is an unrepresentated faction NPC base used in a similar way I would want the GMs to step in to resolve the RP consequences on behalf of the NPC faction, so I see this as a fair use of powers.
Well the OSI present at the siege did say they couldn't be there and told them to get out of the NFZ also he asked to a CF to parlay
After BAF arrived all went to hell with fighting.
We at OSI council have been actively discussing the RP moving forward from this event when this all decision from GM team happens...
IMHO every POB siege should be supervisioned by the GM team and if they see anything during the siege that would be considered exploit (like attacking a Zoner base inside a NFZ, then during that siege everything related to zoner should be hostile. Now doing something like this is way out of line.
