Greetings agents
In this report I will be presenting our findings from surveillance on the "Nichols Trade Center" in Omicron Theta.
Active participants in the surveillance were agents:
[LIA]-Vixen
[LIA]-Wolverine
[LIA]-Peacemaker
Agents "Peacemaker" and "Vixen" had a RV point with "Wolverine" in Sigma 17 at the "Gas Miner Naha". From there we proceeded to set up our forward base of operation at the Atka Research Station. They didn't ask many questions. We headed out to Omicron Theta once we were refueled and restocked.
Nichols Trade Center DOSSIER
It seems that activity is not bigger than the activity at the nearby Freeport but it seems that the clients might differ. From our observations ships found here of wealthier heritage and had better equipment than most of the traffic.
Estimated crew size could be well into the thousands due to the sheer size. Scans could not penetrate the exterior of the base, it seems to be well fortified against prying eyes. Even the docking modules were disabled for the time being. Our findings suggest that they activate only when guests are expected in order to safe keep the transmission of docking codes. The base is capable of handling even big vessels in their docks because it has shipyard like docking facilities on each side. The lack of Repair ships suggest that this is not a manufacturing site but more of a corporate center. The top of the base presents a transparent dome with thousands of different plant species growing inside, our teams are currently working on identifying them from images that we have taken, till now we can confirm that plants from there are from all around the Sirius Sector. The big storage boxes found in the underside of the base suggest that it can operate autonomously for large periods of time, transport ships would probably only have to come round every 30 days. Underneath that we can find 4 towers that seem to be the place where the crew is living. Most likely the base administration has its quarters on the top side. Another interesting fact is that the ships docked are not transmitting any IFF which is most likely due to a jamming technology used to keep everyone anonymous for their stay.
Future course of action
Talk to locals and gather intelligence
Gather information on who supplies the base, what materials are needed and in which quantities
Find out who operates this base
Base defense:
A total number of 11 automated defense platforms each with 4 turrets on it.
Due to the size and logistics required to operate such a base in such a hostile environment it is of no doubt that the for the interests of Liberty more information has to be gathered.
Operation continues.
