The Akhetaten has safely returned to New York and is undergoing the necessary repairs and check-ups in Norfolk Shipyard as of the making of this transmission. The necessary details regarding the events that took place after the warship's disappearance into the anomaly can all be pinpointed below via the provided logs. A more broad explanation and briefing of the events will follow.
[Attachment 1] The Akhetaten received a distress call from an LSF vessel regarding a Nomad near the Pennsylvania Jumpgate. Shortly upon the Akhetaten's arrival the unidentified vessel would disappear, being replaced by gunboat-sized vessels and then by a Nomad capital ship that inflicted serious damage on the Akhetaten, forcing us to retreat.
[Attachment 2] Upon returning, the hostile capital ship had disappeared, possibly after jumping away. The Akhetaten took position near the anomaly located near Ithaca after detection of odd readings. The Akhetaten continues approaching the anomaly due to an inability of acquiring any scans from it at our previous distances.
[Attachment 3] The Akhetaten's reactor failed and along with it all primary, secondary and tertiary systems. The side thrusters that were keeping the warship from falling into the anomaly cease operating. The warship drifts towards the anomaly's center, pulled by the gravitational forces. Upon colliding with the anomaly's center, the Akhetaten is warped to an unknown system. Protocol [REDACTED] is activated. Protocol yields positive results and the Akhetaten's reactor is restarted
[Attachment 4] With the reactor online, primary systems are operational. Secondary systems are re-booting and tertiary systems are on-hold. The Akhetaten begins charting the system she is in. We encounter a stationary, abandoned and seemingly derelict Defiant-class gunboat near the Canaan, a wrecked Order Osiris-class battleship. The Defiant-class gunboat unexplainably begins moving to a specific direction. The Akhetaten follows it and is lead to an unstable anomaly.
[Attachment 5] Upon receival of emergency system-wide communications from Umbral One and Freelancer Ego, the Akhetaten shares it's location with the friendly vessels. The vessels arrive at the location of the Akhetaten but are interdicted and under attack by numerous nomad fighter sized vessels.
[Attachment 6] The Akhetaten and the two snubcraft jump through the unstable anomaly, being the only way out of the system and their only chance of surviving the nomad threat. The anomaly leads us to the Sigmas. Upon reactivation of our jumpdrive, the Akhetaten along with Umbral One manage to make the jump back to New York. Freelancer Ego did not appear on the other side. The Akhetaten and Umbral one proceeded to Norfolk.
