Guten tag,
After the Pinneberg reached it's deployment destination in Hamburg and assigned my men to their posts, i took the Valkyrie for a quick system check. Everything seemed quiet, until i ran into an Interspace ship. I asked him to hold and to submit for a cargo scan, which he didn't agree too very much. I had to disrupt the lane in order to stop him and force said scan, to my very surprise he was carrying an impressive amount of illegal commodities. I tried to talk him into dropping them but he maintained radio silent and attempted to flee, having to chase him down. In the end i lost my patience with him and i had no other alternative but to disable his vessel.
Conclusion: I find it extremely awkward that now when Liberty is increasing it's Naval forces close to our borders, that their very own Corporate employees are attempting to trespass illegal cargo, Black Market munitions nonetheless, through our space, it certainly makes me wonder. Perhaps we should increase our border patrols around Bering as well. I returned back to the Battleship safe and sound afterwards.
Für den Kaiser! Für das Volk! Für Rheinland!
Hochachtungsvoll,
Hans Klein
