It seems I found myself the greatest opportunity that's been offered to me so far in life, it's a pleasure to have made it here. I go by Elizabeth Krest, most people refer to me as Liz. My parents were Outcasts that moved to Liberty before I was born and settled down at Leiden Base. Both of them made a living by extorting corporate convoys or by escorting our own convoys in and out of Liberty, always seemed like a fun job to me and I very early realized it was the 'career' I would like to follow as well, albeit not in the way life had planned for me.
My parents both passed away during a typical mission outside the borders of Liberty. It was a tough situation to be in at first but I quickly realized I cannot let myself succumb to any weakness or fear. I asked to be trained in combat, both close quarters and in space, a request that was easily accepted granted my background and the respected status my parents held. The credits my parents left behind for me proved to be of great importance as they provided the funding I needed for my own ship and equipment along with necessary upgrades I made down the line, during my training. After roughly 4 years and at the age of 24 I took off for the first time to go on my very first mission. From that day and for the last 6 years I've been roaming in and out of Liberty fulfilling bounties, assassination contracts and ensuring the safety of our convoys while making the lives of corporate dogs just a tiny bit harder.
The Inner Circle has always been appealing to me and I viewed joining it as my final goal in my career. I am here to accept the challenges you have to offer and fulfill that goal.
I will now go over the process of my recruitment and the progress I've made so far in a manner that I am hoping will not bore you to death. Relevant files and recordings will be attached within this transmission.
It would quickly occur to me that the shuttle docked on pad A6 not only was under-equipped and barely even holding itself together, but also had all it's on-board components completely wiped out, including the navigational ones. Made me wonder what I'd be doing next if I had no flying experience, but granted that this was not the case I jumped inside the cramped cockpit and took off. The combination of the jumpgate leading to Ontario being blocked and my inability to find the jumphole leading to the system would result in both a waste-of-time detour to California and a charted Sierra Ice Field, at least partially so. I ended up making it to Ontario through Colorado as I vaguely recalled the whereabouts of the desired jumphole in that system. Dare I add here that there certainly was -one- benefit to flying this ship; the thing was so "clean" that everyone was not shooting at me all the time. I almost took the decision to wait around Pueblo for unsuspecting corporate fools, but there wasn't much I could do even if I -did- intercept someone, considering the Starbeams the thing came equipped with can't even take a tradelane down in one salvo.
Never have I been so happy before for reaching Cochrane Depot alive. The rest from here on out should be self explanatory. Fly around, take some fools down, sell their stuff to Cochrane for credits, get to Leiden Base, acquire a Grizzly, rinse and repeat until comfortable with your credits. I have to say the entire process took me a while, but it was certainly much easier done while on a Grizzly. Thinking back, I should've flew to Leiden quite earlier than I did and not edged myself as much on that shuttle I was provided with, but it still made for a fun challenge.
I headed to Alaska, sector C-3 as instructed to find that so called wreck. I looked around the entire grid - including above and below the grid's plane - and neither me nor my ship's scanners could see anything. About twenty minutes in I decided I'm gonna do one last run around and call it quits, and that's when the Cosades sprung into my monitors. Heading towards it revealed both the Omega and Hackert Station wrecks just hovering at my scanner's maximum range, quite some luck there. Unfortunately it seems I spent all my luck points in -finding- the wrecks, as I wasn't able to extract anything of value from them. At this point I should add that with all the bounties I had taken on the Xenos and the Navy I had a pleasing standing with our allies.
Finding the wrecks in the Grande Negra seemed to have been a lot easier on me, but I once again must've ran out of luck, as none of them had any valuable loot to be claimed. I -did- however stumble across a very good reminder of Ageira's incompetence on my way to my assumed location of the California jumphole - which turned out to have been a very good estimate after all. Finding Bradley, much like the aforementioned wrecks, proved to be an easy task yet again. This time, however, luck decided to show it's smile to me and grant me the valuable loot I came here for. Way to go, Bradley.
After a quick trip to the nearby Mactan Base I then headed towards Colorado to see if I can interdict any cargo runners to and from Pueblo Station but it doesn't seem like there were any around whatsoever, so after a while I decided I'd book it towards my last location with the fifty units of Ageira White Boxes I acquired from Magellan. I remember Amarillo base being the location our boys evacuated to when Airdrie became unsuitable for living, but I had no memory of the exact place the base was located at. Took me a while to find it within the Grande Negra, but the sensor nodes placed around it ended up being life-saving, -literally-. I found the base thanks to them just in time to not get blown up by the local radiation as I had to rid myself of a pest that had stuck onto me on my way to Amarillo and my ship's integrity was really not looking too good after the engagement. I sold the goods and I am currently having a well earned drink at the bar.
So here I am, Amarillo base. Hopefully I've earned your trust enough to be welcomed into the Inner Circle.
