Tidings,

Kingston here, reporting on action yesterday past the Virginia supergate.

Constellation was tasked with supporting a Navy force beyond the supergate against Omicron natives and potential alien activity. We were unable to ascertain allegiances, but Outcast, Corsair, and potentially even Core vessels were among those sighted. Sensors refused to catalogue ship identifiers, likely due to nebulaeic interference, but Constellation was able to confirm image capture of one of the alien warforms present.

I will submit a separate report to the R&D department for them to chew on concerning the details of the major warform detected, but suffice to say that combat against unknown human vessels within the system temporarily halted to deal with the alien vessel, with only cannibal forces breaking from the unspoken ceasefire.

Constellation was damaged in the battle, and had to return to Virginia for repairs before her hull was breached. Remaining Navy forces reported they were forced to retreat after sustaining substantial casualties. No intel on foreign vessels that were part of the engagement, nor on Navy vessels that remain unaccounted for.

Recommend monitoring Oregon in case of second assault.
