I want to preface this with a big thank you - thank you to everyone for this fantastic community project that has taken off unexpectedly. We have no ambition to be official, we just want our members to play when they feel like they need an outlet from their stressful lives. We try to be active in terms of roleplay, projects, and missions and most of all empower our members to take the initiative, to see their ideas in action.
In terms of that, we have had an absolute record-breaking Quarter, where we have managed to become the second most active faction in Discovery Freelancer.
What pleases my heart is people taking the initiative in our special squadrons and roleplay goals, be it Bill absolutely smashing it in Vespucci in the remaining days of the Insurgency, James embracing the forum roleplay side of discovery while killing it in-game, VANGUARD dominating Discovery Freelancer's patrols with their Raptors, the many MANY ONI and other secret missions we have run and people embraced - we have restored Willard and it will have an in-game impact, even took some action to the Omicrons. Viper Squadron formation deserves a special mention, it's fantastic how fast it took off, working with factions like SEO, escorting civilians and doing missions is what this is all about.
Most of all, it has been incredibly fun. The flurry of ideas, development, and so many projects open while we all have a great relaxed time, created a place where we can forget about that annoying boss, and the stressful life situation and have great positive fun in our chats. That includes our DJ sessions and sometimes very edgy times in the chat (Hello Kudo ). Of course, with being this active there have been some challenges, but how we dealt with them makes me proud, and the constant stream of new exciting people infusing fresh blood into the First Armada has kept it exciting and optimistic no matter what we faced.
Going Forward
