  Xiaoming was born as the elder of two brothers on Planet Volgograd, in an underground settlement. His father was a miner and his mother worked in a factory.He received a basic education and started to help in the mines at an early age. Political education was his favorite subject, Xiaoming became a fierce patriot of the Coalition as a child already and never had these views challenged.
  
  When he was only 10 years old his mother divorced his father, who was knoiwn to have cheated on her multiple times, and moved to the edgeworlds to marry a Zoner. She took his younger brother Xifeng with her, who grew up to become a freelancer.
  
  When Xiaoming's time for military service approached he found his calling as a war-pilot. He had enough of the mining-industry. Instead of becoming a worker, he wanted to pledge his life to the coalition's mission to liberate the workers of Sirius.

  Xiaoming is a very dilligent soldier, and not a man of many words. Most of his life he has been working hard, and invested a lot of effort to become a war-pilot.
  
  He grew up only with his father, who also worked most of his life, hard physical labor. Most of Xiaoming's peers were miners, or the children of miners. He is used to a rough tone and direct honesty.
  
  Despite his political ideology Xiaoming respects the soldiers and workers of the enemy, too. As someone who worked all of his life and served selflessly as a disposable fighter-pilot he knows that everyone is doing their job.
