Reason for Restoration: I tried to find out the reason here. Now I believe the character was not created on my one and only created accout. Instead it must have been created onto a account named "New Accounts" which was created initially by the launcher with a comment like "No account found in the registry. Will create new one". Maybe I was unintentionally creating the character onto "New Accounts" instead the one I thougt I was using.
