Its been discussed before, and usually the be-all-end-all decision is that if anything is to be translated, 3.3 is it- among other things, languages don't have perfect translations, and it would take an awful lot of work to make sure that something doesn't have the wrong inflection or whatnot that makes someone think they are doing just fine but in actuality be breaking the rules. I would hate to have to see such a person sanctioned for such a mistake, but what could you do? Leaving it in English only except for 3.3 (perhaps) is the only real solution to this.
As for translating 3.3, it happens to be exceptionally easy to translate accurately, and if anyone wants I can go did up the thread where this was done.
