New players and making money

Well, most people start out this way:

They use their starflier and mine for silver in Colorado, until they can afford a CSV, on Manhattan. Then they either start trading with it, or continue mining. They keep at it until they can get a better ship with a large hold.

It's always best to have your first char a trader char, so it can support your newer chars.
