Search button, AoM made a fighter line for this version and a GB for next. Although the GB is called something silly and inconsistent if I recall correctly.
As for funny ship stuff, there's this little thing up in the rules subforum called "special role-playing characters" that you should read about. Adding IFFs is a right annoyance, best to stay untagged and have some sort of nondescript ID and tell the appropriate factions your story so they don't go OMGSANKSHUN.
