I'm not an expert here (I don't own any capital ships on the server right now), but wouldn't that make things virtually impossible to fly, especially for capital ships? Explosives would become the weapon of choice, and while I wouldn't mind that the vanilla ships would be at a huge disadvantage. Capital ships would be useless because the vibrations would make it impossible to aim. I've heard it can be reduced, but I've also heard it can't, and to be honest, I only see newbies or hardcore RPers with battleships, hence, the people that want to RP a capital ship, and the people who don't yet know capital ships aren't a good combat investment. It would be a balancing nightmare (I used to help my old boyfriend make flash games, so I've got a little bit of experience with it).
