diplomatic - allies, co operation, Lending of military aid , role play to keep the gates working, trade agreements, tourists
exploration - regarding proto type or if you dont do one to a house controlled system ya could have two connecting random spots in the middle of no were lots of other exploration potential etc etc.
scientific and research: this would be a great leap forward in this technology, it would give scientists an researchers something to rp about how they made it work were the idea came from they can even help to do maintenance on it. It would be breaking news headlines giant leap forward in jumpgate technology
military - patrols gives navies something to look after role play between houses, role play with traders if there limit is up, Tariffs etc and more
House trade: trading between houses would be increased and roleplay would be needed to keep that working
Trader: traders would have to persuade the military to let them through after there limit is up they would also have to deal with tariffs and role play that sort of thing.

Economy flows even more money traders earns a percentage goes to house coffers and can be used to increase there factories or fund there military or put it into more research for new ideas an technology- through tariffs also cancelling power traders
trader benefits
they would gain a few more profits easier but not much they would get charged a a tariff maybe money goes to house military or police coffers.
