Okay, so I think that if the RM had a problem with the SF using their ships, then they should have said something (or anyone for that matter). They didn't, thus I don't think that Ovidius deserves this. Firebird lays the law down for his faction, every one reads it, doesn't have a problem, until it is posted on the forums and BAM. I think that the issue can be solved by Zukeene's idea:
Quote:I feel that this matter can be solved with a simple request sent to an RM official asking if the SF may have a Rheinland Cruiser to add to their fleet.
On the Star Wars topic, here's a few things that everyone got wrong.
The X-wing was stolen by the rebel alliance, along with the plans (in a sense). The members of Incom Corp. that helped design the X-wing defected to the Rebel Alliance, and thus leaving the remaining workers to work for the Empire. However, Incom tried to remain Neutral during The GCW, and still supplied ships to both sides, the majority going to the Imps.
The B-wing was implemented into The Battle of Endor (it was in the movie) around the same time as the A-wing.
Finally, the reason The Empire used the ships it did:
The Imps were very keen on developing massive ships, and mass amounts of them. When you couple enough impstars and super star destroyers, you get a scary combo. In order to add to that, they used the expendable TIE class of fighter. Only one of these ships was not considered expendable, the TIE Defender. The Empire used these to strike fear into its opponents, even though the impstars and others could have been much smaller, with same power and greater efficiency.
This made many worlds give into the Imps' power at the sight of their vast fleet. The expendable TIEs were made in order to do this, believing that because they were rich, they were better. Because their major tactical strategy was overwhelm, not outfly, the TIE class worked extremely well.
Those are my points on this based off of all forms of media through which Star Wars has been distributed.
