Well, let's say this scenario:

I have a freelancer. He has a trading ship, AND a fighter. Both "characters" are the same character in-RP. So, if I get pirated, and I pay, but swear revenge, am I not allowed to hop on my fighter and go back and attack the pirate? It's not re-engaging if no shots were fired, and it's not metagaming because the character would have knowledge of the pirating and would, in-RP, seek revenge.
