A more ceramic looking hull might look more "next generation", I think. Though generally lighter would do fine too. The shape, while revolutionary, will look even cooler if it looks like it's made out of next generation materials as well... though straight up ceramics might make it look "too" next gen. Super-advanced is the way to go, though- we can't see that it's reactor is 17% more fuel efficient or that it has the most advanced targeting array ever built. What we -can- see is how sleek and graceful it looks, and that sleekness and grace should be reflected in both shape and texture. Play around a bit, perhaps... I'm not quite sure what would work without going overboard.
Also, on that skin, the Liberty logo looks too high- is there an edge right below it? I can hardly tell with the skin on. If there isn't, perhaps trying to center it a bit more would make it look a little better.
Other question- engines? Do you have an effect in mind already?
Make no mistake, I still think this is a gorgeous ship. But it might be able to go from "really cool" to "the coolest piece of hardware ever, worthy of legend by looks alone". And that's worth trying for.
