Tie-Fighter was way the hell better than X-Wing. :P I remember playing scenarios, where my gunboat ended up in rebel space on a scouting mission, and a small cruiser (The one Princess Leah is captured on in the beginning of A New Hope) orders you to power down your weapons and shields and await retrieval. Then send a single Y-Wing to capture you, and you begin a series of dogfights, which depending on your skill, end with a very large rebel capital ship. What a great game..
