Deputy Chief O'Brian was working thru a mound of paperwork, Supply requisitions, maintenance requests, personnel requests, intelligence reports, and some plain old rumours. He decided to check out the new applications for the LPI:
' Wrote:* Name: Eric Washington
* Age: 31
* Height: 5'10"
* Weight: 180 lbs.
* Previous Jobs: Inter-house escorts
* Qualifications: Degree in mixed fighter/bomber piloting
* Brief Biography: I'm a Denver born man. Started flying at 16, parents picked me up a little asteroid jumper to get me by as a kid.
I fell in love with flying. Picked up a larger ship, started some escorts to pick up some money, realized I wanted to make something out of it. So I went to school on the stuff.
* Reasons for Joining: Ever been in those one or two instances where something bad happens to someone by another person, but you don't feel right or able to stop it? I have felt that, and I don't like it. I'm here to try and make a difference, for me, for people.

Height: 5'9ft
Weight: 175 lb
Previous Jobs: Metal worker, retail assistant and inter planetary, small freighter pilot.
Qualifications: Basic piloting certificate and standard high school diploma (Grade B-).
Brief Biography:
I was born on Texas, with a metal worker for a dad and a stay at home mum.
I began working in "Jeff's Bargin Market" at the age of thirteen, I helped with the accounts at times so I know how to handle paper work.
Shortly after finishing high school I started working at the local metal works with my dad. I got bumped up to a pilot position about a year ago.
Reasons for Joining:
Well, choking to death in a over rated coffin wouldn't be my first choice of lifestyle.
I saw a LPI advert the other day, pay looks good, the work is just about right for me, so I decided, why not?
O'Brian stared at the application and made a decision:
ACCEPTEDBasic piloting license and small freighter qualified? You would work well with the cargo interdiction unit or the R&A branch. Mind you P and Q's and you'll go far.
Report for duty, get a uniform and indoctrinated. Maintenance will hopefully have a Patriot for you, have them program the transponder to read:
