Marcus the vast majority of the Libertonian population lives in a fluctuating state of poverty, experiencing now an economic and social boom due to their declaration of war on Rheinland. The reality is that Liberty is a sham, it paints itself as an idealistic state where anyone can make a dream, but the reality is much more akin to the depressed states of the '30s.
Pockets of affluences intermix with a majority of exploited labourers and those who can just break even. The Xeno movement itself was derived from workers who felt threatened by job loss from outside sources of labour. That alone should speak to the state of Liberty. Beyond all of that you can pull back the curtain and find that slave labour is at the heart of the economy.
Liberty is a tainted paradise, it wouldn't be a stretch for one dissatisfied group to set their sights on a more idealistic socialist state and take action to in their eyes make it happen.
I disagree.
Ok, Denver is relatively middle class, houston, not so much. But planet manhattan is the most populated planet in sirius, housing AT LEAST 220 MILLION PPL (according to vanilla, population could've grown a bit by now). EDIT: I forgot to add my point, manhattan has the most population, and the living costs there are quitehigh, I doubt to see any poor people/xeno's in manhattan.
furthermore, planet Erie and Planet LA are getting an economic boom as well, LA started getting one since vanilla FL times, and, well, Erie is just known to have an economic boom recently, perhaps because of its Zoner presense.
To call Liberty a state in which most of the population is poor is like calling Liberty another Kusari. The Kusari have government censors and what not (again, my source is vanilla FL) to make it look like the perfect country to foreigners. Liberty doesn't really have that, coz they don't need it.
