Way to see if someone is a pirate or not without scanning?

You know I'm a powertrader and don't give a damn about anything else besides profit. If I'm playing for fun I'd be in my assault cruiser or fighter.

Oh and sub targeting... way too late. Plus, they are usually sitting at the gate. Therefore, I would like a system of knowing BEFORE jumping into the system. Heck, I wonder if I'll even care, after all I have one eye on the anime and one eye on the freelancer.

Exactly, you may not give a damn in character. But if your trying convince yourself that you don't give a damn it's time to play a different game. You have to give a damn because otherise you lose your cargo no matter how you scan em. Anyway, if you don't give a damn about scanning then what's this thread even for in the first place?

Back on topic. If their at the gate and you don't want to get pirated today then just jump out and make a damn good effort to get away in any direction but the direction you were going. Powertrading or not, just stay awake and you'l keep your ass intact.
