Just gonna quote myself from some other boards. This also relates to us getting our own ID later on down the road (which I've already typed up, though this probably isn't the place for it...).
Quote:The main reason is that the Wild ID (while no the 'Wilde ID' as you mentioned) has indeed become synonymous with 'Das Wilde', which, as we all know, is the Rheinland branch of infected humans. The fundamental differences between the Aoi Iseijin and Das Wilde are twofold -- 1.) the size, which directly relates to 2.) their methods of operation.
Aoi Iseijin is vastly smaller than Das Wilde. They were pretty much wiped out with Tekagi, they weren't around as long as Das Wilde were in the RM, and Das Wilde has had a bigger base from which to grow in more years. Fundamentally, this effects how they operate. While the Das Wilde are rather overt in their operations, meaning that they make little effort to hide who they are and in fact use that fear to their advantage (best shown in that you wear the tag Wilde. ingame), the Aoi Iseijin is more covert. Less numbers means that fewer risks can be taken. Operations are therefore more limited, using subterfuge to gain their objectives.
This fundamental difference makes us two distinct organizations, despite having the same premise of being infected humans. To illustrate a counterpoint, imagine that another Liberty Navy faction emerged and attempted to gain official faction status in conjunction with the [LN] faction. What would the main response be?
"What do you have to offer that the [LN] doesn't? What is the difference between your faction and theirs?"
If they couldn't correctly answer those two questions, then they would most likely be denied, and told to go join the [LN]. Obviously they wouldn't be able to apply for their own ID.
I hope the relation is obvious... we've been able to differentiate our faction from yours.
