Besides, I can't uninstall Freelancer, cause my game isn't an install, it's a copy + paste from an install on my friends computer xD

but anyways..... Rolling isnt all too great because you can't do it in mouseflight, you can only do it in Keyboard flight which sucks, big time...

It takes about half a second to a second for your movement key to register, and its simply weird as hell trying to turn/roll with one hand and aim with the other.

I found barrel rolling is useful for ships fighting in turret mode. You know how the camera screws up when your target flies under you? Well you just barrel roll to keep your broadside facing him. Same with when they fly over you.
Tall, flat ships or flat wide cap ships might even be able to dodge SNACs by barrel rolling x3
