Kishiro and Samura are both Kiretsus of Kusari.
Samura is big and strong company with massive production, while Kishiro falls back when numbers are in question.

They are less powerful but more innovative. They promote foreign quality trade and some foreign rights, but Samura is more traditionalistic and thuse favored more by emperor.

That does not mean that Kishiro is not liked, actually it was Kishiro that adopted some critical things in Kusari to benefit the nation.

Both Samura and Kishiro work for Kusari, for the benefit of Kusari, but they also compete among each other. Samura uses more dirty tricks, but kishiro isn't far behind. If you do decide to join Kusari with this faction of yours, you should talk to emperor and ask for blessing, and you should play it very smart to how do you deal with Samura and Kishiro.

While one side is more aggressive, other side won't hesitate to cripple something that could rise against it.
