Doesn't it already strip fighter shields in one shot?
So doesn't that mean that this change has absolutely no bearing on Sabre vs Titan balance? Or Sabre vs Praetorian?
As for the Colada, by most everyone's admission it was unusable for fighters before the update. Now, it is at least theoretically usable (only time will tell). Since I doubt anyone's going to call it broken, what could possibly go wrong? At worst it still needs tweaking and is still unusable. Just like before.
See where I'm going with this?
The Praetorian and Roc were nerfed a bit. The Roc was starting to be whored (note: I am by no means saying that everyone who flies a Roc is a PvPwhore), and anyone who's fought the Praetorian can testify how fine a ship it is. It doesn't sound like a major change, just a tweak. At worst, the Corsairs have a teensy weensy disadvantage until the next tweak comes. At best, it's fairer than it was before.
In conclusion, from this update:
Outcast-Corsair fighter balance is completely unaffected, or at most slightly shifted toward the Corsairs
Outcast-Corsair bomber balance is somewhat tipped toward the Outcasts at most, and only slightly tweaked at least- but I don't think anyone is contesting the superior status of the Praetorian in this field even with these changes
Outcast fighters are slightly harder to gank with Lunchboxes, in the event that actually ever happens. (When was the last time you saw that?)
So... just about nothing. Minor, non-game-destroying tweaks. Whoopdie doo.
