My name is Nagate Tanaka, and I wish to express my interest in joining the Kusari Naval Forces and helping to further the Emperor's will. For several generations my family have taken the on the important although passive role of farming. It was at the age of 15 that I discovered our family's more noble past. Generations ago my forefathers served the emperor more directly, some as palace guards and others as trained assassins. I have made it my goal to restore our family name to the honor and prestige that it once had. I am trained in the ways of the Samurai, as well as an ancient form of stealth oriented martial arts, from a master whose name I am forbidden to speak. I have recently completed training in the use of fighter class space craft, and now believe I am ready to serve in the Kusari Naval Forces.
