Action Report for: Leutnant Lenora Schneider Filed on January 23, 818 A.S. Location: Stuttgart Action Type: Repulsion of Red Hessians (Class 3)
Today I received word that a number of Red Hessians were marshaling in Omega-7, including multiple gunboats. I took my bomber to the aid of my compatriots, but no sooner had I reached the rendezvous than a Corsair entered Stuttgart through the Omega-7 gate, shortly followed by 4 Hessians, including two gunboats.
The Corsair was quite obviously the target of the Hessians, and we permitted them to destroy it before we moved in and engaged them. Despite their initial attempts to flee, we eventually locked them in combat and picked off one of their fighters and both gunboats. The other one, fearing our wrath, appeared to have engaged some sort of ion cloak- we could still see him, unlike the model occasionally used by smugglers, but our scanners were unable to correctly find his position or velocity with any accuracy.
After some aggravating attempts to deal with this strange technology, two members of the Red Hessian Army entered the fray. Soon enough, however, our scanners were overwhelmed by an flash ion storm. Even though three Hessians survived, the threat was neutralized.
