The Jagddivision Einz, also known as the "Valkyrie Squad" made its first introduction yesterday at 0941 Zulu time, in an assault against the Libertonian defenders of Planet Houston, located in the Texas system.
Our task force, consisting of Stafelkommandant Katrina Mitzi, Jagdfuehrers Gustav Rothstein, Stephan Schmidt and Jaeger Wolfgang Spielman was successful at crippling the defences of Houston sent out in superior force, destroying ONESiege Cruiser, TWONavy Gunboats, THREEAvengers, TWOGuardians and several other smaller patrol ships. As an addition, we also could cripple and force out a landing or retreat of ONERogue Gunboat and TWOSiege cruisers. All that while maintaining our losses of Valkyrie Squad members is at zero, each of the four pilots returned home with suffering merely a minor amount of damage.
The assault in detail is as follows:
Stafelkommandant Katrina Mitzi scrambled our wing to assault Houston, as a response to a smaller Libertonian raid on Hamburg earlier that day. The Navy raid party consisted of a carrier and a cruiser, of which the Rheinwehr interceptor wing could only take down the cruiser, deisgnated as -EisenSeele- before the fleeing Libertonians reached Texas.

Following the pursuit, the Rheinwehr commanders on the field decided on retaliation. The Valkyrie Squad was scrambled to form an assault wing, backed up by parts of the Rheinwehr defense squad. Stafelkommandant Katrina Mitzi split us into two groups, me and Jagdfuehrer Gustav Rothstein were to approach from Hudson, while the rest of the attack group went through Bering.
Our first and only contact was a Libertonian Siege Cruiser, the Blast02, maintaining its position in Hudson orbit. Our approach got unnoticed, even though we tried luring it out of the planet's orbit and from the range of the Mississippi's guns. Our provocations were followed by no response by the Navy, but a group of local militiants, the Liberty Rogues emerged to respond to our threats.
We got locks on two gunboat-class vessels and a Rogue destroyer, the Maelstrom. The militiants' superior line of ships managed to destroy one of the Rheinwehr reserve bombers, but the Valkyrie Squad damaged one of their gunboats to an irreversible extent.

An arriving Navy Battlegroup forced the militiants to pull out before their destruction, more than obviously because they were the sent replacement. This line of actions describes the anarchy in control of Liberty thanks to the lack of response by the Navy and the Presidency. Open cooperation with "outlaw" assets was a pain to witness. Three LSF Avengers, three Siege Cruisers and one Navy Gunboats were now attacking us. Slowly, but steadily starting with the gunboat then the fighters, we brought the opposition to its knees. The enemy siege cruisers attempted a retreat to the Hudson atmosphere, the Battleship Mississippi or the prison station every time they were under fire, the fighters were shot down one by one.

The enemy reinforcements kept pulling in and even though we hardly lost anything more than half of our shields, we had to retreat before a fourth wave arrived. We left a pile of burning Libertonian wrecks as we made our escape, a successful introduction by the Valkyries.
