Two rewards for that quest:
1. Several hundred caps
OR
2. T-51B armour, best armour in the game (power armour)
Only bad thing is that the T-51B suit cannot be repaired (unless you have mods, which I do) so it is best to keep it for those REALLY tough battles, where you have to fight a small army of Enclave soldiers.
