Long Range Communication [color=#33CC00]Online Encryption Initiated Logging to database ... Commander Andrew Wellows , LSFC Eolus Data Transfer Initiated...
Greetings LSF Command.
We have spent countless hours with processing informations gathered by Dr. Gitta Cosman during her work at Cambridge Research Facility. We've made many possible plans and routes, where possible research materials and alien lifeforms are to be found. Our first target was Newcastle, since we already know there is a Nomad built "city" of some sort, but since the area is under heavy protection of the Bretonian Armed Forces, we turned this plan down.
However, Dr. Cosman had some information about another possible alien "structure" also located in Bretonia. Rumors said that strange readings were spotted in the Chester System, a deserted and empty system of Bretonia. Dr. Cosman also had some research informations from previous expeditions entering the area, conforming these rumors. After loading up with equipment, we headed there with the LSFC-Eolus.
We planned our route carefully, to avoid being spotted or discovered. However, for this, we had no other option but to "keep a few pilots quiet" on the way. Our flight took us through Cortez and Inverse , where we reached the Bretonian border. Long range scanners indicated 2 of Her Majesty's Ships currently in flight, but they were out of range to have any chance on discovering us or our destination.
Upon entering Newcastle, we've had some trouble with a few Molly ships, and also met some Gaians wondering around. To avoid them asking too much, I've chosen to "neutralize" all possible threats to our mission. All pilots were beamed aboard and are being helled at the ships prison cells until we arrive back to Liberty.
Even with these small disturbances, we reached our destination, the Chester System and began our search for alien lifeforms or anything unusual.
We didn't have to look for long and noticed a huge dark matter cloud close to the far corner of the system. As we got closer, we got positive readings of a station of some sort located inside the cloud. As we entered the cloud, multiple hostile ships appeared on scanners. As they got closer, we identified them as Nomad Voidrunners. From this, we were sure that we found something big here.

Hostile contact on scanners
After dealing with the incoming ships, we moved closer to the source of the signal. Soon, we had a visual on the station. According to it's size, it's a huge, positively Nomad built construction, but it's purpose is yet unknown.

Side of the construction
While we stayed close to the installation, our scanners showed something strange. We had another group of hostiles around us, but for some reason, they didn't want to get closer to the object then 2K. We do not know the reasons for this, but we are setting up our sensors to gather as much information as we can.
Strange readings on scanner
In order to continue our research and to gather informations about this installation and it's secrets, we have climbed above the cloud and are maintaining a stationary position. We will stay here as long as our supplies hold out and until we can avoid being compromised by the BAF or anyone else.
This is all for now, we will send another transmission once we've gathered more informations and are planning to return to Liberty. Until then, we will maintain complete radio silence, since we don't want any uninvited guests to confront with our objectives.
