Untagged Factions

So what's the solution then, Dusty? All tags or no tags?

How about grey? Why does it have to be black and white?

Currently Keeper = Nomads. Everyone who plays this mod knows that. All you do is swap to "order by name" and flick to 'K'. Put [-] on the end of your name, and that isn't applicable. Plus, only the people who bother with the forums will know that [-] = Keepers at first.

It would take people all of about 2 days to figure out the new tag, if that.

If you see a Wild ID, Keeper ID, or Phantom ID, it's a fairly safe bet that the person is part of the respective player faction.

Anyway, Wilde removed our tag not because of the ganking, but because it made it impossible to even -pretend- to be anything but **Nomguys** across system chat.

Yeah with all three of those factions, there are no indies. There is no need for a tag showing that this person with this ID is part of the official faction rather than an indie.

I got bored with the thread after these posts so that's as far as I read.

In case you don't get it, I don't agree with all factions being required to have a tag. Some need them, some shouldn't have them.
