CT-187-ED, a Mammoth Liberty Transport, civilian operated was travelling from California to New York to pick up some materials and cargo to trade in Bretonia. It was taking the.. Well, the weird route, close to the badlands, it was the Captain's choice, he had believed it be safer then taking the Trade Lanes, they wouldn't expect he said.

They had passed four or five lanes, and was close to the Badland fields when something came from the field, it didn't carry any IFF and was as small as a light fighter.. It came in 300kph, struck the side of the Transport and then.. This was all that was heard.




CT-187-ED: S.O.S! This is the Civilian Transport: 187-ED.. We just got hit by something! And we are adrift! Any craft in the system able to help please!
CT-187-ED: -static- 6 -static- Oh MY GOD!! -static-
CT-187-ED: *continues to spew static*
CT-187-ED: *The occassional scream can be heard, followed by static*
CT-187-ED: *Something knocks the com on, a rasping sound, followed by moaning*
CT-187-ED: *The hull seams intact, besides a 6 feet large hole to it's side*
CT-187-ED: *A low rasping sound is heard again, a weird grinding sound.. Followed by static*
CT-187-ED: *There seams to be a docking port on it's bow*
CT-187-ED: *The hole seams to have been sealed and there is still vital signs onboard*

Capt_MacCello: Firefly transport to Alex D''angelo navy: This is Cpt. MacCello. I'm going along with two members of my crew to CT0187
CT-187-ED: *The docking port opens in front of you*
Capt_MacCello: cpt Mac Cello and 2 crew members armed and in hazard suits
Capt_MacCello: We're entering a corridor ahead of the docking port.
CT-187-ED: *A dark hallway, completely pitch black, the lights must have failed or something*
Capt_MacCello: We assume a triangle formation and start walking down the hall. with the suit's flashlights on
Allen.Stews: this is allen I am going to bring 2 replacement crew out to your ship, hopefully we can get those engines pumpinf
CT-187-ED: *First thing they'l notice when the lights go on, is one crewmember laying on the floor, his guts spilled on the floor*
CT-187-ED: *Blood smeared on the walls behind him*
Capt_MacCello: He's got no vitals, Zach. Leave him.
CT-187-ED: *No obvious gunshots fired, the hall leads to two seperate halways, one leading to the back and one to the front*
Capt_MacCello: Hallways clear. Kimberly, we're going to the bridge.
Capt_MacCello: We'll try to acess the logs.
Allen.Stews: get ready for crew egress
Capt_MacCello: MacCello reporting. Vessel looks empty. One crew member found, no vitals.
CT-187-ED: *The halway leading to the front of the ship are also covered with blood, two more bodies, one with a severed head*
Capt_MacCello: Proceeding to the bridge.
Capt_MacCello: one of my crew kicks the body, checking if he's dead
Capt_MacCello: We keep walking, triangle formation covering flanks.
CT-187-ED: *there is a cross section, one to the left leading up one to the right going further*
Capt_MacCello: We go up. We pass through blood stained corridors, darkened rooms viewed by windows.
CT-187-ED: *You can hear metal clad boots hitting the floor above the stairs*
Capt_MacCello: Kimberly: Sir, scans indicate 9 lifesigns in the ship.
Capt_MacCello: Zach, with me! Jim, cover our backs.
Capt_MacCello: We go up, weapons aiming
Capt_MacCello: flash light fllooding the hallway with light
CT-187-ED: *A body comes rumbling down the stairs, it's torso opened wide*
Capt_MacCello: ****! *fires one round at the ceiling, as a warning shot*
CT-187-ED: *The shot actually.. Hits something.. *
Capt_MacCello: Up ahead! Fire!
CT-187-ED: *Looking up they'l see a human body hanging from the celing, in chains.. Something above the stairs move further in*
Cutthoat: Thankfully we all weren't brought up spineless, like you, sir.
Capt_MacCello: Hold you fire! Is.. is that a body??
Capt_MacCello: We reach the top of the stairs.
CT-187-ED: *There is two more bodies lying in the halway*
CT-187-ED: *One of which seams to be a girl, naked she has had been cut almost completely from top to toe*
Capt_MacCello: Good god. What the hell happened in this place? Kimberly, transmit to our navy friend: we need a squad of marines here, ASAP!
Capt_MacCello: Poor girl... Move on, guys
CT-187-ED: *Something up ahead moves. it seams to be crawling on all four*
CT-187-ED: *The flashlights may show it wearing a similar uniform as the other bodies*
Capt_MacCello: Zach: What the hell is that? MacCello: keep your aim at it! *shouting: Hey, you! Stop right there!
CT-187-ED: *It moans.. As it falls down face down*
CT-187-ED: *The man, cause it has to be, is bleeding from its head, and arms, as it seams to be missing parts of its skull*
Capt_MacCello: transport ship Firefly: requesting marine support at sector 6C. Derelict vessel encountered, possible hostiles on board.
Capt_MacCello: I kick his body to face heads up.
Capt_MacCello: Jim sees a sign on the wall indicating the bridge direction
CT-187-ED: *he mouths something.. Then closes his eyes*
Capt_MacCello: What? *Zach applies an adrenaline pack on his arm, to try to keep he awake/alive a little longer
Capt_MacCello: me and jim have our weapons on him
CT-187-ED: *Coughs violently as the adrenaline kicks in.. * "They.. Are many.. Run.."
Capt_MacCello: What? What are many?
CT-187-ED: *His eyes stares into Zach's* "Five.. They.." *Begins to cramp and shudder then moans and apperently dies*
Capt_MacCello: we're on board, the crew seems to be dead. We need assistance. Over.
Capt_MacCello: We look at the bridge sign, lock our suits helmets in place and proceed down the hall, after closing the mans eyes.
Capt_MacCello: Rest in peace, your poor bastard.
CT-187-ED: *The door to the to bridge is half opened, an severed arm lays in between the doors*
Capt_MacCello: I'm approaching the bridge. We'll try to see what we can find in the ships logs.
Capt_MacCello: We approach the door, each member takes one side and I knock on the metal, trying to look into the breach
Capt_MacCello: I touch the arm with the weapon's barrel
CT-187-ED: *One man lays across the bridge seat, split open from throat down to pelvis*
Capt_MacCello: Bridge seems clear. Let's go
Capt_MacCello: me and zach open the door, Jim's enter, then zachm then me
Capt_MacCello: the doors closes into the arm again
Capt_MacCello: I approach the bridge seat, toss the corpse in the floor and start acessing hte logs from the captains seat as my teammates
Capt_MacCello: keep circling the bridge, checking every crane and nook
Capt_MacCello: MacCello here. I reached the ship. I think the captain is dead, acessing logs now.
Capt_MacCello: I reache the bridge.
CT-187-ED: *A second door, probably leading down again, is closed, blood covering the entire door, a long blade, made out of black metal -
CT-187-ED: *The bridge's second door, has blood covered over most of it, a hand has been smearing across it.. The blade sticking out of the door, from the otherside, it's afeet long and twisted weirdly, and seams to be made out of bone*
CT-187-ED: *It has entrails on it, and something else.. *
Capt_MacCello: I managed to access the logs. Both teammates report the bridge clear and we try to play the logs
Capt_MacCello: Zach: Captn, you should see this *points at blade
CT-187-ED: *The ship got hit by something coming from the badlands, carrying no apperent IFF, it struck the hull in the egnineering section.
CT-187-ED: *Several crewmembers reported it was a pod, and then it was silent from the egineering*
Capt_MacCello: Jim sits and starts playing the logs on the bridge's speaker while I get up and go near the blade with Zach
CT-187-ED: *Last phootage from the bridge was of three men carrying these blades coming in and hacking the crew on the bridge*
Capt_MacCello: Jim: Holy crap! - Me: What? - Jim: This! *and plays the log again
CT-187-ED: *Only thing the men, if one could call them that, was: "Take them! TAKE THEM!" *their faces where twisted and mangled-
CT-187-ED: *like they had sliced their own skin and inserted pieces of metal into the cheeks*
Capt_MacCello: Apparently the crew suffered some kind of mental disarray, maybe even physical.
Capt_MacCello: Okay, guys. Let's get this door open.
Capt_MacCello: Zach starts pounding the blade with the weapons butt until it breaks.
CT-187-ED: *There are a low voice on the other side of the door where the blade comes out of*
CT-187-ED: *The blade breaks*
Capt_MacCello: Hello? Someone there?
CT-187-ED: *Another blade cuts trough the door*
Capt_MacCello: I keep close to the door and the two back off one step
Capt_MacCello: That's not good.
Capt_MacCello: I fire at the blade and it breaks too
CT-187-ED: *this one seams to be trying to cut it open for the inside, another blade, and then another. One breaks from the weapons fire*
Capt_MacCello: Crap! Take cover!
CT-187-ED: *The other two begins to cut the steel dor open, small strips*

Capt_MacCello: We hide behind the consoles. All start firing at the breaches
Capt_MacCello: Zach throws a concussion prox grenade near the door's foot, ledft side
CT-187-ED: *You can hear a scream, a man's scream, as hes shot, the others retreive their blades and you can hear ironclad boots running Down the the hallway they are in
Capt_MacCello: After them!
Capt_MacCello: Zach gets his grande back and disarms it ti holster it, Jim starts shooting the creatues at the back through a breach while I
Capt_MacCello: I try to open the doors
Capt_MacCello: manually, pulling one side
CT-187-ED: *The doors breach and you see one of the creatures mouth open screaming in a blood curling roar as he flings something at you, A saw blade, the size of your head flings by and hits the bulkhead behind you
Capt_MacCello: I reflexively back against the door
CT-187-ED: *The thing runs around the corner where he stood*
Capt_MacCello: MacCello to Allen: We've encountered hostiles aboard! We're chasing them, over!
Capt_MacCello: The door open, we 3 chase them, slowing a little when approaching the corner. Zach requests the lifeform signals coordinates
Capt_MacCello: to kimberly at the Firefly's sensors
CT-187-ED: *After the corner there is a long halway, about 30 metres, then another turn then theres a hatch to Engineering*
CT-187-ED: *The halway your coming to, seams to have human signatures in it*
Capt_MacCello: Hold! Kimberly, I need a pinpoint in those lifeforms! *we approachand examine hte signatures
CT-187-ED: *Unmoving, seams to be close to the bulkhead*
Capt_MacCello: Zach: We should leave this place, Captain. Me: Only if we don't find those survivors.
Capt_MacCello: We turn the corner
Capt_MacCello: we got the signals ahead, we're backing out if nothing is found. Over.
CT-187-ED: *There are 4 humans spiked onto the bulkhead, hands, feet*
CT-187-ED: *All seams to be alive*
Allen.Stews: CT-187 is the downed freighter
Capt_MacCello: Crap! Zach gets near one and checks his heartbeat
Capt_MacCello: Zach: he's alive, captain. Jim: All of them are.
CT-187-ED: *It's.. Sort of stable.. It seams all of them are alive*
Capt_MacCello: Let's get them down, one by one.
CT-187-ED: *They moan, but none of them speak.. Blood seeping out of their mouths*
Capt_MacCello: Zach, you're the bigger here. Can you carry 2 of them? - Zach: I can't fire while doing it, capt.
LPI-SWAT-Cho.Sprinks[R]: Apparently not.
Capt_MacCello: receiving
Allen.Stews: im reccomending hammer down, we need to stop the infestation
LPI-SWAT-Cho.Sprinks[R]: CT-187, please respond.
Capt_MacCello: I found 4 survivors, all in critical state. Heading back to Firefly, over.
CT-187-ED: *There seams to be a large breach into the starboard side of the ship, close to the engineering section, Capt_Macello is-
CT-187-ED: *docked with the transport*
Allen.Stews: CT i am transferring 2 engineers to you
Allen.Stews: please tractor
Capt_MacCello: we start to back out the corridor, I carrying a pistol and a girl, Jim with the rifle on hsi chest and another girl, and Zach
Capt_MacCello: with the two others
Allen.Stews: someone aboard the CT-187 please tractor the repair crew
CT-187-ED: *Two of the people open their mouths, showing that their tounges has been ripped out*
LPI-SWAT-Cho.Sprinks[R]: MacCello, can you send another shuttle over with the crew?
Capt_MacCello: Holy crap. Kimberly, we're going back.
LPI-SWAT-Cho.Sprinks[R]: What's the situation about that infestation? Is it contained?
CT-187-ED: *Tears fall down one of the survivors, a young girl, maybe 17*
Capt_MacCello: Kimberly: Roger, we're sending two Navy engineers to meet you.
Capt_MacCello: Engineers on their way.
Allen.Stews: logs indicated all crew members suffered nomad mind attacks
Allen.Stews: they may be contaminated
Capt_MacCello: Hold on, sweetheart, You will be fine.
Capt_MacCello: We reach the bridge's door
CT-187-ED: *she sobs and moans* Rastling can be heard from the engineering section*
Capt_MacCello: MacCello here: we're leaving the sip, Infestation is not contained, repeat: not contained!
Allen.Stews: request permission to destroy the derelict
Capt_MacCello: We got hostiles inbound on our position and making a run for it!
Allen.Stews: repeat we need to kill it
CT-187-ED: *You see the entrance to the docking port, back to your ship, when you see a man hunched over one of the bodies*
Capt_MacCello: Where one deck from the firefly, hold your fire, Allen!
Allen.Stews: give the clear as soon as humanly possible
LPI-SWAT-Cho.Sprinks[R]: Wait, is there anyone left alive on CT-187?
Ace.Pro.Luxury.Liner: Alaska: I thought alaska was only a mith?
Capt_MacCello: What the hell is that?
Allen.Stews: the firefly is evac
Capt_MacCello: Where are the engineers, Kimberly?
Allen.Stews: as soon as they are clear i will destroy the infested vessel
CT-187-ED: *Power seams to be building in the engieering section*
Allen.Stews: target locked
Allen.Stews: if the ship moves I WILL engage
LPI-SWAT-Cho.Sprinks[R]: I'd advise to take some distance from CT-187
CT-187-ED: *It turns around, it's missing parts of it's face.. Like it's chin and one eye socket*
Allen.Stews: please tell me you are clear!
CT-187-ED: *It growls and then roars and jumps towards you*
Capt_MacCello: Fire! *I shoot it in the face with the pistol while Jim ddrops the girl and fires the rifle
Allen.Stews: i think she's powering up her engines
Capt_MacCello: negative! Hostile on the docking port!
Allen.Stews: if that ship makes a run for it i will finish it
LPI-SWAT-Cho.Sprinks[R]: Wait, YOUR docking port? Repeat that, please!
CT-187-ED: *The thing flies back hitting the bulkhead, it's head hits the hard metal and cracks, it falls down, dead*
Capt_MacCello: Zach gets the two men to safety and comes back for Jim's girl
Allen.Stews: are you off the CT?
Capt_MacCello: I lump into the firelfy ad put the girl in the bay's floor
CT-187-ED: *The ships weapon systems comes online, the engines as well*
Capt_MacCello: MacCello here: We're clear!
Capt_MacCello: Repeat, we're clear!



CT-187-ED, the transport fired it's engines, and it's guns at both officers, each of which received some damage, then they returned fire, the bow of the ship started to burn, it's shields down, all that was heard from the Transport was a blood curling roar, before the transport got engulfed in flames and exploded...

What ever it was.. It was only begining..
