Dad's friend, was a bit of a gamer, when it came out he gave it to me to play, I was so young when I got it, I didn't understand how to play and stuff. (7 years ago, must have been about 7 at the time:D) A year or 2 later I dug it out and started playing. Completed singleplayer.
Pulled it out another few years later and started playing multi player.
