First is eagle with wings ,second is eagle without wings- both are bad.
Second is good beginning:
1: make the sides proper or remove them at all, add more engines twin/triple engine in the center and one on each side under the wings so they have some usage- now they looks ugly cut - like Roc from behind.
2: change the cockpit and the nose- it is a way too big,most of the GBs have some kind of bridge with windows, this kind of ships are manned by crew not by single pilot- yours looks for single usage.
The nose of the second proposal mounted on the first one with better bridge section would be nice.
