Place of Birth: Plant New Tokyo, New Tokyo System, Kusari Empire.
Skills: Apt mechanic, moderate skilled pilot, can file paperwork.
Previous Employment History: None, unless you want to know about working in various shops planet-side before I signed up to the Naval Forces.
Law enforcement, Military and/or Para-military History/Experience*: I have been involved in countless patrols around Kusari, and even raids into the Kingdom of Bretonia. I would give you an exact number of patrols if possible, but it is not. Suffice to say I have had my fair share of combat experience...
Q&A - All questions below must be answered.
What experiences do you have with fighter/bomber craft.
My main craft has always been a Chimaera, and I have only used an Umibozu when absolutely necessary, though I am able.
Why are you interested in joining the Hanta-Iseijin?
I wish to further defend my homeland by removing all possible external threats. We have enough to deal with in Bretonia, the last thing the Kusari Empire needs is infiltration from something that isn't even human... Though the thought of this threat has only now become apparent to me, after reading the communications message left behind by Captain Michiba.
Do you have a criminal record, or have been in trouble with Kusari law enforcement? If so, for what reasons?
Negative.
Do you have any skills, competences and/or personality traits that could be useful?
The only skills worth mentioning here have been stated on initial registration sheet.

What are the Hanta-Iseijin?
The Hanta-Iseijin are the cover organisation for the Kusari Wild. They cover by performing the duties that the Kusari Naval Forces would if they were actively hunting the Wild, as well as standard KNF jobs.
What do the Hanta-Iseijin do? (Tasks, RP style, etc)
From what I understand, the Hanta-Iseijin does their best to be inconspicuous, investigating people as the Naval Forces or police may otherwise, but what they're really doing is unknowingly gathering more recruits for their parent group.
Why do we do this?
I'm going to look at the original infiltration idea and say it's to root so deep into Kusari's government that the Nomads can gain control over the house (again).
Tell me about your character.
Akio is the result of a standardised life as an only child on the planet of New Tokyo. He never really strived for anything, and most of the skills he went on to train were things that already came naturally to him. He was educated, but left school when he was about sixteen to help his ageing father in his shop, it didn't sell anything specific, it was somewhat of a White Elephant Store. His mother had died not only the year before, and when he was seventeen his father suddenly died after medical complications. He stayed with the shop for two years, trying to earn some money where he could. Akio became quite skilled in crunching numbers during this time, making enough to support himself with a little spare put away. However, when he was nineteen the store started to lose business, to the point where he was starting to LOSE money, rapidly... After job hunting for two months, he decided that if he wasn't going to be of any economic use to Kusari, he could be of some military application, and enlisted for the Naval Forces as a pilot. Akio had no real skill as a pilot at the time, but picked up on the basics of ship control rather quickly, and was placed into a home-defence group.
Have you read AND understood the server rules of discovery? (If no, go read and try again)
Yep.
Have you really?
Yes.
Then explain why the following rules are important:
Quote:3.1 Using coarse language, posting abusive, hateful, racist content in chat, public or private is prohibited under any circumstances. Any kind of flaming, threatening or insulting language directed at other members, factions or server administrators in chat, public or private, is prohibited on server and on forums. RP-related threats are allowed on the server.
Like in school, you don't swear, or call people nasty names based on their heritage, etc etc...
Quote:3.3 Out-of-character (OOC) chat must not be used in system or local chat. OOC communication in group or private chat between players will cease if one player requests it. Admins are free to communicate with any player at any time.
Self-explanatory, out of character is when you speak, out of character, which is prohibited on public comms unless it's an emergency.
Quote:3.4 Threatening other players with reports and sanctions, attempting to pose as an Admin and using an Admin's name without permission is not allowed.
This means, don't run around going 'lol i suncshun u'. However, I do believe the admins have stated that if you see someone do something wrong, it's within your power to tell them that it could get them in trouble, I.E: "Yeah, you might want to get rid of that second I.D. or someone might report you."
You're not allowed to masquerade as an admin, either... So no imitating admins.
Quote:5.2 All attacks must be the result of some form of role play. "Engaging" is not sufficient. An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Being hit with a CD is not considered an attack. If a player is attacked he has a right to defend himself regardless of who is attacking.
This means you don't go shooting at people with three words, or none at all. You have to give some element of roleplay, which is really just decency. The rest is self-explanatory.
Quote:5.6 Fleeing in combat counts as a PVP death. Fleeing is:
a) Docking with a jump gate, station or tradelane;
b) Moving more than 10km from the fight.
Vessels acting as escorts for trade ships are exempt from this rules for purposes of:
a) Catching up to their transport. I.E. breaking off an attack to rejoin their charge.
b) Re-entering a system which had previously been exited.
5.7 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) until four hours have passed from the time of his/her destruction.
If the player respawns in the same system, he/she must leave the system within 10 minutes of his destruction without attacking anyone, except in self-defense. Other players are not allowed to attack one who is leaving.
Transports/Freighters/Liners which have been killed in a PvP fight may return to the system in which they were destroyed but only for purposes of moving through the system or for trade within that system. They may only act in a purely defensive manner. This exemption applies only to players who are in the system for the purposes of trading and does not apply to mining, piracy or any other activity.
5.8 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not attack the enemy (player or players involved in the death) with any of the characters on his/her account(s) for 4 hours. Self-killing during a PvP fight is counted as a normal PvP death.
General PvP rules. It means that fleeing is counted as a death. 'Fleeing' is defined as docking with anything dockable, or intentionally moving 10 KM out of the fight. It also states that there is exemptions from the rule, for instance: A mercenary is allowed to break off from an attack to rejoin the transport it was escorting, and it can re-enter a system that it had exited.
Further on, it states that if you die in a system, you cannot return to said system or attack the player that killed you for four hours. If you respawn in the system you die in, you have ten minutes to exit the system, or you may simply log off (which isn't stated, but it's obvious).
Furthermore, any transport, freighter or liner that is killed in a system, may return to the system but only for the purpose of trading or passing through to continue trade. They may only attack in defence, however pirates may re-pirate the ship if they so please.
Describe your experience of Kusari in 2-5 Lines.
I've had moderate experiences in Kusari, alas most have been kind of bad. Luckily the bad experiences have mainly been with singular groups, that I shall not name. Otherwise I've had some fun in Kusari as an indie Hogosha, a Kishiro trader and an indie Blood Dragon. I also used to 'visit' Kusari as a Privateer, and had lots of fun.
Have you ever been sanctioned or banned for violating a server rule in the last 6 months?
Not in the last six months.
On a scale from 1-11 how would you rate your in-game Role-playing skills?
8 - I can roleplay well, according to the people I do RP with, but I know I could use some work.
Terms and conditions
The Hanta-Iseijin reserves the right to expel a member from the faction if his or her conduct violates server rules, forum rules, faction rules or is being detrimental to the well being of the faction, its members and/or the community. The faction also requires applicants and faction members to respect the opinions of the various players of the community and the time they have invested in their characters, RP and other projects.
Do you comply with the above terms?: Yes, of course.
