During a training session several hours ago with Ivan of the SCRA a Blood Dragon approached our position. We immediately ended our session and pursued the intruder. I managed to intercept his craft in the asteroid field near Tripoli and we began to battle. Within a short period I knocked down his shield. As expected the enemy pilot altered his tactics. He began making a tight circular run, which I was unable to match in the Titan. Fortunately he was not able to get a good lock on my fighter. I managed a few manuevers which allowed some return fire, but these also left me open for my opponent. I believe the match could have gone on as a stale-mate and so I yielded to Ivan's offer to take over the dual. Ivan had the upper hand with the Talon, but both were recalled by their commanding officers before the battle was completed.
Observation: There are newer members of the Brotherhood, including myself, that have not flown against various other ships, which are common among enemy factions. Some of these fighters have greater maneuverablility and we need to learn how to overcome this advantage.
Suggestion: The aquisition of certain enemy fighters which have proven difficult targets for Titan pilots for the purpose of training our pilots how to combat a more manueverable ship. I suggest these fighters be minimally equipped to reduce the impact on our resources and that they be used only for training.
