Greetings Mr Sanders. I'm not sure why you again addressed my non existing
husband... if you have heard any rumors about me getting married, I'll have to
disappoint you.
I'm glad to see you are happy with my reports, as my team and I put a lot of work
into gathering all the data and compiling it. If there is something else I can do for
the Guild, just say so and I'll jump right on it. I'm sure you know how the saying
goes... "Idle hands are the Devil's tools".
There indeed seems to be a miscommunication, allow me to explain. When I said "...I'm also very surprised no one ever came to visit me to check how I am
conducting the survey nor did anyone offer to defend me. This is very unusual as
I'd thought someone with the money to construct a base, would be able to at
least offer minimal security and inspect me in the field." I was referring to the
investor who's identity I still don't know. If I asked for extra security, you'd then
need to ask the investor or assign someone from the Guild to guard me which
would in turn postpone the survey. I'm not sure how much competition there is,
but if it was postponed, the investor could turn to another company and you'd
lose the contract. I also wanted to point out that lack of investor's involvement
into this survey tells me they were either not interested or had great faith in my
ability to provide them with accurate data.
Now that we got that out of the way, I'd like to argue and support my claims
regarding my final thoughts about the base building sites. Venting large amounts
of gas would help in the short term, securing the construction site for vessels
that have powerful lasers which would merge the asteroids into a sphere-like
object. Because the remaining asteroids are extremely dense a meter thick layer
would survive in such a storm for about fifteen years, not to mention the security
it would provide to the construction teams inside the hollow asteroid.
The Donryu cloud is a good option too, but I'm not sure where would you ground
the conductive beams and if they could survive the extreme heat caused by
lightning strikes. The Faraday shield effect unfortunately cannot be achieved
until the actual framework is built meaning our construction ships wouldn't be
protected at all and even if we were to generate a shield before the actual
construction begins, it would require constant maintenance as it would be very
likely to overload from absorbing discharges of high voltage.
Everything else that you have pointed out stands as it is and I thank you on
sharing your knowledge and opinion, but I'm still in favor of constructing a base
in Kuryo cloud. It is up to you to decide how you're going to present the
information I gathered in this survey, but be advised that if they are unhappy
with either my results or your presentation, they are likely going to turn to
another expert.
