Problems occur when Sairs/Hogosha show up with a solaris-heavy osiris or two with fighter escort, which has happened twice in the past two weeks. You -need- a slugger against those osirises, since bombers can't do the job with a heavy fighter escort, gunboats go down fast in mass-fighter encounters, and launching your own fighterswarm ends up with a solaris-powered stream of blue messages. Both cases I believe were caused with BAF retreating to Hood instead of Essex.
I guess IMG will have to start turning BAF away in combat situations to drive a point home - Give us nothing to defend with? Then no safe haven for you.
